Eye Lash Lifting

In the world of eyelash lifting, things change pretty fast. New solutions, rods/shields, and nourishing treatments for your lashes are released weekly.

Behind the scenes, Julia and I have been re-training in a new technique called the Korean eyelash lift.

What makes this technique different is the process. The lashes are first relaxed before being wrapped onto the shield, resulting in more lifted Lashes from the root.
This technique is excellent for all lash types, especially stubborn lashes. It is slightly quicker than traditional lash lifting, and lashes can get wet after 4 hours.

It is also recommended to wait at least 8 weeks in between each Lash Lift treatment so not to dehydrate the lashes. We Highly recommend using Elleebana Elleeplex Clear Mascara after having a lift and tint to keep your lashes hydrated and to maintain the lift and tint effect. Unfortunately, your eyelash tint won't last the full 8 weeks, however coming back at the 4-week mark for an eyelash tint helps to enhance the look again.

Do's, Dont's & Frequently Asked Questions about Eyelash Lifting

DO's

Apply Elleebana Elleeplex clear mascara daily to hydrates lashes, fans lashes and increases the longevity of your lift.

Make sure you use a mascara wand to brush your lashes into place after they have been wet

DON'TS

Avoid wearing eye makeup 24 hours after your treatment

Avoid getting your lashes wet for 24 hours after your treatment

Avoid rubbing at your eyes after your treatment

If you have your treatment in the evening, to avoid kinking your lashes be careful the way you sleep on your pillow. Your lashes take 12 hours to fully set.

Avoid wearing any coloured mascaras when flying to prevent dehydration. We do recommend wearing the Elleebana Elleeplex Clear Mascara to nourish the lashes when flying

Avoid wearing waterproof mascara whilst you have an eyelash lift. As it can dehydrate your lashes causing them to over curl, brittleness and reduce the lifespan of your lift.

How often can I have my lash lift?

We recommend you leave 8-12 weeks between your lifts so not to over process your lashes& to get the best results.

Can I have my eyelashes tinted at the same time?

YES, We highly recommend you to tint your lashes at the same time as they will be darker and last longer.

Can I have my Lashes lifted when I'm using "Eye Envy"

Yes, you can! We highly recommend an eyelash lift after using Eye Envy. This is the best way to show off your beautiful long lashes so you can see the length. Best results after 3 months use of Eye Envy.

I am pregnant... Can I have a lift?

At Juren we recommend clients to avoid having a lash lift when they are pregnant. As hormones can change the way hair reacts to the lifting solution. This may result in the lift not taking at all or in the lashes frizzing. AN EYELASH TINT IS A PERFECT ALTERNATIVE!

My lashes are really short, will it still work?

Yes, we have 4 different size rods for the eyelash lifts (S, M, L & XL)

Can I have a lift if I still have eyelash extensions in?

We highly recommend that you have your eye lash extensions removed by the therapist who did them before having a lift, as this will affect the result of the lift.
